TOOLS & METHODS

A summary of the tools and methods I use day to day, grouped by function rather than listed alphabetically.

CAD01

I work primarily in OnShape and Fusion 360 for day-to-day modeling, with SolidWorks for projects that call for it, and I handle my own print preparation in Bambu Studio and Cura.

Simulation02

I run structural FEA in ANSYS and CFD studies in both ANSYS and STAR-CCM+, and I write custom MATLAB tools when I need to process or visualize results beyond what standard outputs provide.

Fabrication03

In the shop, I am comfortable across 3D printing, manual and CNC milling, composite layup, laser cutting, mold fabrication, and building test beds to validate a design before it reaches a competition or a flight.

Programming04

MATLAB is my primary programming environment. I use it for everything from data-analysis tools to full interactive applications.

Hardware05

On the hardware side, I have worked with sensors and camera vision systems, embedded systems, actuators and servos, DC high-voltage motors, and closed-loop control with PID and gyros.
